Calcium Chloride Prills

Calcium Chloride 94-97% - Mini Prills are an anhydrous pellet form of Calcium Chloride (CaCl2). It is the most widely used and most effective of all cement accelerators. ... In general calcium chloride is added to cement slurries to shorten the setting time and/or accelerate the hardening process.
• Prills are solid particles of calcium chloride containing less than 0.5% water.
• Our calcium chloride prills have a standard concentration of 96%.

Heavy Clear Brine

Our clear brine fluids are calcium chloride solutions that find applications in extracting and drilling operations for the oil and gas sector. Who is The Korchinski Group of Companies

The Korchinski Group of Companies is predominantly an Edmonton based chemical supply manufacturing company that also provides services related to the supply of calcium chloride and related products and services.

When did the first company enter the Calcium Chloride landscape

The first company in the group was Ward Chemical Incorporated, and it became the first company in the Korchinski Group when Allan purchased the interests of his four partners in 1996. At the time it had 6 employees and has now grown to its current size which employs approximately 60 people.

Focused on manufacturing and supplying chemical products

The companies within the group manufacture and supply chemical products predominantly to businesses, government bodies and publicly operated entities involved in the oil & gas, and road construction and maintenance, industries.

Calcium Incorperated enters the scene

In June 2019 Ward Chemical and Kortech Calcium amalgamated into 1 company – Calcium Incorporated. Both divisions still operate independently of each other: • Ward Chemical – division of Calcium Inc. (Manufacturing and Sales to Oilfield/Mining) • Kortech Calcium Services – div of Calcium Inc. (Sales to the Road Sector)
